Unfortunatly the defending Light Heavyweight Champion Florian Müller had to pull out of the event because of a shoulder injury that makes it impossible for him to even train for the event. We all wish that he can recover fast and we are going to have the title defense coming up later this year - most likely in October.  The title fight has been cancelled, however Klas Akesson will remain on the fightcard and his opponent will be announced soon. 

Also, Benjamin Cigliutti, who was supposed to face Hamid Corassani from Sweden, had to pull out of the event because of an injury he suffered at training. A new opponent for Hamid Corassani will be announced very soon.

Fight Fiesta de Luxe has managed to sign another up and coming rising Star on the Mixed Martial Arts circuit. Kheder, a highly decorated former judoka who finished 3rd at the European Championships in 2000 and 7th at the Olympic Games, is representing one of the biggest Gyms in the USA - TEAM QUEST - run by former Pride FC Champion and current UFC fighter Dan Henderson. Ferrid Kheder will face Iwan Mussardo from Switzerland - decorated Shooto figher who fought all over the world and who was one of the main characters on the German MMA Reality Show (on DSF) Martial Arts X-treme.
